Gonzalo Moyano, is a Fellow for the Climate Finance Project. His current research focuses on the role of advanced developing economies in the creation of decentralized mechanisms for climate finance. Gonzalo is also working on the expansion of the Climate Finance Project in Latin America. He is also a Legal Fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity, where he researches on the use of cost-benefit analysis in environmental policy of developing countries. He is among the contributing authors of a forthcoming book tentatively titled, "Global Cost-Benefit Analysis".

Developing Nations Dealing With Climate Need Attention From COP16
Outside the auspices of COP16, a number of developing countries like India and Chile are starting to consider using market mechanisms like carbon caps to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. That climate action is taking place at all is good news at a conference that doesn't appear to be headed towards a breakthrough.
